A few weeks ago, I had the fortune to be invited to participate in an art project for the Lulu & Leo Fund. The project consisted of an Art Table at the very first L&L Fund Benefit which took place on November 6th at the Museum of the City of New York. The project was a wonderful collaboration with my dear friend Marina Krim. The piece entitled “I Love New York” is a 9’x5′ tall work of the Empire State Building filled with a collage of NY subway metrocards, NY museum pins, stickers and maps. The art station was a total hit! Every guest at the Benefit was invited to glue little piece(s) onto the canvas and finish the work… It was an incredible experience to watch and be part of a collective art project, and I couldn’t be prouder of the results.
Read more about the L&L Fund’s mission and how you can help and support their vision to provide inspiration and healing through art to children and communities facing adversity. It’s a great cause!
